Synthesis Consulting was started to change how Biotechs get built. Reducing the front loading of costs and building proven machine learning and data solutions for biological and chemical problems.
Our founders - a team of research scientists, data experts, and machine learning engineers - came together with decades of experience from leading pharma, techbio, and academic institutions. They envisioned a consulting firm that rejects unnecessary overheads and focuses instead on building genuine research partnerships with clients. Sam McKaylin
Co-Founder
Sam is brings experience in scientific leadership, fundraising, AI integration and small molecule drug discovery. He is currently the Consulting CSO at Astron Health - a healthtech focused on predicting non response for precision oncology drugs before they are prescribed.
Sam trained in developmental genetics at the University of Cambridge he spent half a decade in Machine Learning for Drug Discovery before moving in to financial consultancy where he specialised in Venture capital due dilligence covering the entire healthcare and life sciences sector.
Kristofer Linton-Reid
Co-Founder
Kris is a research fellow at Imperial College London where he specialises in developing Computer Vision techniques for the detection of cancer. He is an experienced drug discoverer and highly cited machine learning researcher who has developed products for NHS Scotland and
